Two broke boys with small budgets
We design five-course fine dining menus that are affordable from ingredients that are readily available at the supermarket.

Fernando Gasos Cavestany
The one that says "if it doesn't fit the budget, it doesn't make it into the menu". Working alongside Juan’s culinary expertise, he turned one of the biggest challenges of making fine dining at home (keeping it affordable) into the creative constraint behind Broke but Bougie. He’s also the one behind the camera, the edits and the social media, bringing the food, the story and everything in between to life. Because making fine dining affordable is one thing and making people want to cook it at home is another.

Juan M. Fortunato
The one who makes €4 look like it belongs on a tasting menu. Juan is the culinary brain behind Broke but Bougie. With over seven years in professional kitchens, he’s spent years refining his techniques and learning what makes a dish work, not just taste good. Broke but Bougie gives him the creative freedom to take everything he’s learned and turn it into dishes without the usual restaurant rules. His inspiration comes from the different countries and food cultures he’s experienced, blending techniques and ideas to create something entirely his own. While Ferni makes sure the dish fits the budget, Juan makes sure it looks like it absolutely shouldn’t.
The most recent fine dining menu we design is always free.
